Biologically active dietary supplement
Inosel No. 30 Capsules (Dietary Supplement)
Composition:
Myo-inositol – 600 mg
L-selenomethionine – 100 µg
Physiological Role of Myo-Inositol and Selenium:
Myo-inositol is an endogenous metabolite essential for the synthesis of more than 50 inositol phosphate derivatives, which are involved in intracellular signal transmission from receptors of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), insulin, and others.
In the thyroid gland, myo-inositol participates in TSH-induced iodine organification.
Inositol also plays a role in glucose metabolism, contributing to the regulation of blood glucose levels. It improves cellular sensitivity to insulin, which is important for glucose control and the prevention of diabetes.
Disorders of myo-inositol metabolism lead to insulin resistance, cellular resistance to GnRH/FSH/LH, ovulation disorders, inhibition of oocyte maturation, and accelerate the development of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Selenium is co-translationally incorporated into selenoproteins in the form of the selenocysteine residue. Through its incorporation into proteins, selenium participates in numerous biochemical reactions, mainly supporting redox balance and thyroid hormone metabolism.
A daily selenium dose of 55–100 µg ensures maximal activity of glutathione peroxidase in plasma and erythrocytes.
Selenium positively affects:
Production of T and B lymphocytes and macrophages, thereby supporting immune system function
Production of the hormone T3 (triiodothyronine)
Regulation of anti-thyroid antibodies (anti-TPO) levels in patients with autoimmune hypothyroidism
Recommendations for Use:
As a biologically active dietary supplement, it is recommended that:
Clinical data highlight the effectiveness of myo-inositol and selenium in patients with autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto’s disease) with subclinical hypothyroidism, helping restore normal thyroid function.
It effectively reduces TSH, anti-TPO, and anti-TG levels, increases thyroid hormone levels, improves general condition, and restores euthyroidism in patients diagnosed with autoimmune thyroiditis.
Inoseli in Endocrinology:
Reduces insulin resistance
Helps prevent the risk of gestational diabetes
Participates in the regulation of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism
Supports normalization of thyroid hormone metabolism
Has hepato- and nephroprotective properties
Supports normal immune system function
Protects against oxidative stress
Recommended Daily Dose: 1 capsule, 1–2 times daily.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.
