Solgar – Folate 800 mcg Tablets
Composition:

Folate (as L-methylfolate – Metafolin) – 800 mcg

Other Ingredients:

Mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable cellulose, silica gel, vegetable stearic acid, vegetable magnesium stearate.

Free from:
Gluten, starch, dairy, soy, sugar, yeast, sweeteners, sodium, artificial flavors, preservatives, and colorings.

Indications:

• Folate-deficiency anemia:

• Macrocytic hyperchromic anemia

• Drug- or radiation-induced anemia

• Leukopenia

• Megaloblastic, sideroblastic, and small intestine disease-related anemias

• Sprue

• Malabsorption syndrome

• Treatment and prevention of anemia during pregnancy and lactation

• Prevention of neural tube defects and anencephaly in the first trimester of pregnancy

• Hyperhomocysteinemia

• Antiphospholipid syndrome

• Recurrent pregnancy loss (spontaneous abortion)

• Preeclampsia

• Infertility

• Long-term treatment with folate antagonists (e.g. methotrexate, sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim), and anticonvulsants (e.g. phenytoin, primidone, phenobarbital)

• Cervical dysplasia

• Osteoporosis

• Atherosclerosis

• Breast and colon cancer

• Histamine deficiency

• Periodontal disease and halitosis

Also used as part of complex treatment for:
Thalassemia, ulcerative colitis, vitiligo, migraine, depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, bipolar disorder, Crohn's disease, diarrhea, Down syndrome, epilepsy, lung cancer, psoriasis.

Dosage:

Take 1 tablet daily, preferably with food.

Storage:

Store at room temperature in a place out of reach of children.
