Used for the relief or elimination of symptoms of seasonal or chronic (year-round) allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, nasal congestion, nasal discharge, nasal itching, throat itching, and redness and itching of the eyes.
Each film-coated tablet contains 5 mg of the active substance desloratadine.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrophosphate, sodium starch glycolate, LS-hydroxypropylcellulose, magnesium stearate, coating powder.
Relief or elimination of symptoms of seasonal or chronic (year-round) allergic rhinitis (such as sneezing, nasal congestion, nasal discharge, nasal itching, palate itching, eye redness, and itching).
Reduction or elimination of chronic idiopathic urticaria symptoms (itching and rash).
Tablets are taken orally, preferably at the same time each day, with a small amount of water, regardless of meals.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 5 mg once daily.
Children 6-12 years: 2.5 mg once daily.
Children 1-6 years: 1.25 mg once daily.
No clinically significant side effects have been reported.
Possible side effects include fatigue, dry mouth, headache.
Very rarely: tachycardia, palpitations, increased liver enzyme activity, elevated bilirubin concentration, allergic reactions, rash.
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Lactation period.
Pregnancy.
Children under 1 year old.
Use with caution in severe renal insufficiency.
The safety of desloratadine during pregnancy has not been studied, so its use is not recommended.
Desloratadine passes into breast milk, so its use during lactation is not recommended.
Shelf life – 2 years.
Store at 15-25°C.
