Composition

100 ml contains:

• Ketotifen fumarate – 0.0276 g (calculated on 100% substance)

• Nipagin – 0.1 g

• Nipazol – 0.02 g

• Sorbitol – 40.0 g

• Citric acid – 0.2 g

• Phosphate nitrate – 0.6 g

• Rectified ethyl alcohol – 3.0 ml

• Flavored food essence (strawberry) – 0.1 g

• Purified water

Indications

Ketotifen is indicated for:

• Prevention of bronchial asthma attacks

• Allergic bronchitis

• Asthmatic complications caused by hay fever

• Long-term prophylaxis of allergic dermatoses

Dosage and Administration

Adults:

• 5 ml (1 teaspoon) twice daily, morning and evening, with meals

• If necessary, daily dose may be increased up to 20 ml (4 teaspoons), divided into 2 doses

Children over 3 years old, weighing over 25 kg:

• 5 ml twice daily

Children under 3 years old:

• 0.025 ml/kg body weight (0.125 ml syrup) twice daily

Contraindications

• No absolute contraindications for use

• Pregnancy

• Not recommended for children under 6 months of age

Storage Conditions and Shelf Life

• Store in a place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25°C

• Shelf life is indicated on the package
