Indications for use:
Meldonium is used as part of complex therapy in the following cases:
Reduced work capacity, physical and psycho-emotional overload;
Recovery period after cerebrovascular disorders, head injuries, and encephalitis.
Capsules:
1 capsule contains 250 mg of meldonium dihydrate.
Dried potato starch, silicon dioxide, calcium stearate.
Capsule (body and cap): titanium dioxide (E 171), gelatin.
For oral use. Considering the possible development of a stimulating effect, it is recommended to take it in the first half of the day.
The daily dose is 500 mg (2 capsules). The daily dose can be taken as a single dose or divided into 2 parts. The maximum daily dose is 500 mg.
The duration of the treatment course is 4–6 weeks. The treatment course can be repeated 2–3 times a year.
In elderly patients with impaired liver and/or kidney function, a dose reduction of meldonium may be required.
Since the drug is excreted through the kidneys, patients with mild to moderate renal impairment should be prescribed meldonium at a reduced dose.
Patients with mild to moderate liver impairment should be prescribed meldonium at a reduced dose.
There is no data on the safety and efficacy of meldonium use in children and adolescents (under 18 years), therefore this drug is contraindicated in children and adolescents.
Hypersensitivity to meldonium or any other ingredient of the preparation;
Severe liver and/or kidney failure (insufficient data on safety of use);
Pregnancy and lactation;
Children and adolescents under 18 years of age (safety of use has not been established).
Store at a temperature up to 25°C.
Keep in the original packaging to protect from moisture.
