Dexalgin helps quickly relieve pain in the head, teeth, muscles, and abdomen with an effectively acting formula.
Active ingredient: Dexketoprofen.
Used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of acute mild to moderate pain, such as acute muscle or joint pain, menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea), or toothache.
Allergy to dexketoprofen trometamol or any other ingredient of this medicine.
Allergy to acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Asthma, history of asthma attacks, acute allergic rhinitis (short-term inflammation of the nasal mucosa), nasal polyps (allergy-related growths inside the nose), urticaria (skin rash), angioneurotic edema (swelling of face, eyes, lips, or tongue, or difficulty breathing), or chest tightness after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.
Photosensitivity reactions from ketoprofen or fibrates.
History of peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or chronic digestive problems (e.g., indigestion or heartburn).
Past gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation caused by NSAIDs.
Chronic inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis).
Severe heart failure, moderate to severe kidney failure, or severe liver failure.
Blood disorders or coagulation problems.
Severe dehydration due to vomiting, diarrhea, or insufficient fluid intake.
Third trimester of pregnancy or during lactation.
Age under 18 years.
This medicine must not be used in persons under 18 years of age.
The dose may vary depending on the type, severity, and duration of pain.
Recommended dose: 1 sachet (25 mg dexketoprofen) every 8 hours, not exceeding 3 sachets per day (75 mg).
Elderly patients or those with kidney or liver disease: initial recommended dose is 2 sachets per day (50 mg). The dose may later be increased up to the general recommended dose (75 mg dexketoprofen) if tolerated.
For rapid pain relief, sachets should be taken on an empty stomach (at least 15 minutes before meals) for faster absorption.
Store out of reach of children at a temperature below 30°C.
