Ambroxol tablets are used in respiratory tract diseases where the mucus is thick and sticky, and the condition is accompanied by difficulty in expectoration.
Each tablet contains 30 mg of Ambroxol hydrochloride.
Excipients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, magnesium stearate, anhydrous colloidal silica, povidone 30, talc.
Ambroxol tablets are used for respiratory diseases where mucus is thick and difficult to expectorate, such as:
Acute and chronic bronchitis
Pneumonia
Bronchial asthma
Bronchiectasis
Hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any excipients in the formulation
Peptic ulcer disease (stomach or duodenal ulcer)
Epileptic syndrome

Although there is no conclusive evidence of harm to the fetus or breastfed infant, ambroxol should be used during pregnancy (especially in the first trimester) and lactation only if the potential benefit justifies the possible risk.
