Alerseti syrup is a medication used to treat allergic rhinitis and urticaria that are persistent and of unknown origin.
Active substance: Cetirizine dihydrochloride
Each 1 ml of syrup contains 1 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Excipients:
Sorbitol solution (E420), glycerol, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, banana flavor, sodium acetate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), and deionized water.
Alerseti syrup is an antihistamine used to treat allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria (persistent hives of unknown cause).
For children aged 2 years and older and adults, it is indicated for:
Allergic rhinitis (with nasal and eye symptoms)
Chronic idiopathic urticaria and itching

Clinical data on the use of cetirizine dihydrochloride during pregnancy is limited. Although animal studies have shown no harmful effects, the use of cetirizine is recommended only when absolutely necessary.
If you become pregnant while taking this medicine, inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
If you are breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Since cetirizine (the active ingredient) passes into breast milk, Alerseti is not recommended during breastfeeding.
Children aged 2–6 years:2.5 mg once daily (½ teaspoon = 2.5 ml of syrup).
If needed, the dose may be increased to 5 mg once daily (5 ml) or 2.5 mg twice daily (every 12 hours).
Children aged 6–12 years:
Depending on symptom severity: 5 mg once daily (5 ml), or 10 mg once daily (10 ml), or 5 mg twice daily.
Keep Alerseti out of reach of children and in its original packaging.
Store at room temperature (up to 25°C).
