Form: Oral suspension (5 ml vial).
One vial (5 ml) contains:
Active Ingredient: Antibiotic-polyresistant spores of Bacillus clausii – 2 billion.
Excipient: Purified water up to 5 ml.
Description: Opalescent, whitish liquid with a characteristic odor.
Treatment and prevention of intestinal dysbacteriosis and subsequent endogenous vitamin deficiency.
Supportive therapy to restore intestinal microbial flora altered during treatment with antibiotics or chemotherapy agents.
Acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders in infants and young children characteristic of intoxication, intestinal dysbacteriosis, or vitamin deficiency.
Important Warning: This preparation is for oral use only (to be swallowed). It must not be administered by injection! Do not take it by any other route.
Dosage:
Adults: 2-3 vials per day, unless otherwise directed by a doctor. Recommended intervals between single doses (1 vial) are 3-4 hours.
Infants (from 3 weeks of age) and children: 1-2 vials per day. If the daily dose is 1 vial, take it all at once. If it exceeds 1 vial, maintain a 3-4 hour interval between doses.
Method of Use:Shake the vial before use. Twist the top part clockwise to open. The contents can be diluted in sweetened water, milk, tea, or orange juice, or taken undiluted.
Antibiotic Therapy: If using Enterogermina during a course of antibiotics, it is recommended to take the dose between two consecutive antibiotic doses (e.g., 2-3 hours after the antibacterial drug).
Visible Particles: The presence of visible particles in the vial is normal; these are aggregates of Bacillus clausii spores and do not indicate a change in the product.
Hygiene: Once opened, the preparation must be consumed immediately to avoid contamination of the suspension.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the ingredients.
Possible Side Effects: Rash, urticaria (hives), and angioedema.
Pregnancy and Lactation: Use of this preparation during pregnancy and lactation is not contraindicated.
Storage: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, out of reach of children.
