Used for seasonal and chronic allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, pruritic dermatoses, and urticaria.
Each film-coated tablet of Alerthek contains 10 mg of the active ingredient Cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Excipients: Lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Pregnancy and lactation
Cetirizine does not significantly affect mental or motor functions. It may be taken while driving or operating machinery; however, caution is advised when using higher doses.
Use is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment.
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily, in the morning.
Children 6–12 years: 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily, or ½ tablet (5 mg) twice daily (morning and evening).
Children 2–6 years: ½ tablet (5 mg) once daily, or ¼ tablet (2.5 mg) twice daily (morning and evening).
Patients with renal impairment: The dose should be halved.
Elderly patients with normal kidney function: No dose adjustment needed.
Gastrointestinal: Dry mouth, rarely digestive disturbances
CNS: Mild and transient drowsiness, headache, dizziness, rarely agitation
Allergic reactions: Rarely rash or angioedema
Side effects are rare and typically transient.
Shelf life: 4 years
Store at 10–25°C, in a place out of reach of children.
