Other infections caused by the indicated microorganisms
In sepsis, Phagio® in complex therapy enhances treatment effectiveness
For prophylaxis:
Treatment of new wounds in both hospital and home settings
Prevention of purulent complications during surgical procedures and manipulations
Prevention of purulent complications in acute respiratory viral infections
Prevention of bacterial contamination and nosocomial infections in medical institutions
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation
One of the key factors for effective phage therapy is determining the sensitivity of the causative microorganism to the phages contained in the preparation
Particularly effective when used at an early stage of infection and directly at the site of infection
Prescribed by a physician:
Orally (per os), rectally (per rectum)
Locally (as washes, dressings, or tampons)
Introduced into cavities (wounds, abscesses, pleural cavity, joints, nose and paranasal sinuses, ear, urinary bladder, vagina/uterus)
For local purulent-inflammatory processes: use both locally and orally simultaneously
Treatment duration: typically 5–10 days
Dosage depends on the size or volume of the affected area
For infected cavities, the preparation is introduced after drainage of pus under sterile conditions
The procedure is performed once daily for 3–5 days
