Exoderil spray is used for the treatment of fungal infections of the feet.
Each 1 ml of spray solution contains:
Active ingredient: Naftifine hydrochloride – 10 mg
Excipients: Propylene glycol – 0.05 g, Ethanol – 0.40 g
Used for the treatment of fungal infections of the feet.
Unless otherwise prescribed by a physician, Exoderil should be sprayed on the affected area once daily, preferably in the evening.
Spray the solution in such a way that it covers not only the infected skin but also extends about 2 cm onto the surrounding healthy skin.
Even if subjective symptoms (such as itching) disappear quickly, treatment should be continued for 1–2 weeks after all visible signs have resolved, to prevent recurrence.
The total duration of treatment depends on the type of infection, the causative fungus, the location, and severity of the disease.
This medication is for topical use only.
Before application, wash the affected area with warm water and dry thoroughly.
Upon first use, press the spray several times until the solution disperses evenly.
Each spray releases approximately 0.1 ml of solution.
The specially designed nozzle allows application even in hard-to-reach areas, such as skin folds, due to its flexible design that adapts to all bottle positions.
If there is no clinical improvement after 4 weeks, treatment should be re-evaluated.
Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to naftifine or any of the excipients.
There are no adequate clinical data on the use of naftifine during pregnancy.
Animal studies do not indicate direct or indirect harmful effects on pregnancy, embryonic/fetal development, childbirth, or postnatal development.
Use with caution during pregnancy.
It is unknown whether naftifine is excreted in human breast milk.
Animal data on milk excretion are unavailable.
When deciding whether to continue breastfeeding or use Exoderil, the benefits for the mother and the potential risk to the infant should be considered.
Store at room temperature, not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
