Amaryl M helps to lower blood sugar levels and is used alongside diet and physical exercise for the treatment of certain forms of diabetes (type 2 diabetes mellitus).
Active substances are glimepiride and metformin hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 2 mg glimepiride and 500 mg metformin hydrochloride.
Other ingredients: lactose, sodium starch glycolate, povidone K30, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol 6000, titanium dioxide, carnauba wax, purified water.

When monotherapy with either glimepiride or metformin does not achieve adequate blood glucose control;
When switching from separate tablets of glimepiride and metformin to combined treatment.

The dose depends on your condition, blood and urine sugar test results, and is determined by your doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
It is recommended to start treatment with the lowest effective dose and increase based on blood sugar levels under medical supervision.
When switching from separate glimepiride and metformin tablets to Amaryl M, dosing is based on the previously used doses.
Dose adjustments may be necessary in case of weight changes, lifestyle changes, or stressful situations. Inform your doctor accordingly.
If you feel the medication is too weak or too strong, do not adjust the dose yourself; consult your doctor.
Take Amaryl M orally immediately before or during a meal. Swallow the tablet whole with at least half a glass of water.
Keep out of reach of children.
