It is used in cases of constipation when rapid bowel evacuation is desired — for example, before radiological examinations, surgery, or childbirth.
Active ingredient: Castor oil (Ricini oleum).

The active substance in castor oil – triglyceride of ricinoleic acid – stimulates the small intestine. A full dose of castor oil typically induces bowel movement within 2 to 6 hours, usually resulting in one or two episodes of abundant, semi-liquid stools.
Castor oil is indicated for functional constipation and is used when rapid bowel evacuation is desired, such as before radiological examinations, surgery, or childbirth.
Do not use in cases of abdominal pain, intestinal obstruction, nausea, or vomiting.
The product is contraindicated in patients with gallstone disease, bile duct obstruction, chronic constipation, gastrointestinal or uterine bleeding.
Do not use together with fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K).
Not recommended during pregnancy as it may induce premature labor.
Not recommended during breastfeeding, as it may cause diarrhea in the infant.
Use in children under 1 year is not recommended.
Nausea, vomiting, colic, severe diarrhea, dyspepsia, and electrolyte imbalance (especially in children).
Do not use in combination with male fern extract when treating tapeworm.
Co-administration with fat-soluble vitamins may reduce their absorption.
Diarrhea may impair drug absorption; therefore, take other medications 2–6 hours after castor oil.
Castor oil is intended for short-term use in functional constipation.
Long-term use may reduce effectiveness.
Children's intestines are more sensitive to castor oil, and there's a risk of dehydration.
In pediatric patients, use only under medical supervision.
Not recommended before operating vehicles or machinery, as bowel movement onset varies from 2 to 6 hours.
Children 1–5 years: 1 full teaspoon
Children 5–12 years: 1 full dessert spoon
Adults and elderly: 1–2 full tablespoons
If defecation disrupts sleep, morning administration is recommended.
Store in original packaging at temperatures below 25°C, out of reach of children.
