For adults and children over 2 years of age:
A single dose of 400 mg (one Albendazole tablet) is recommended for Enterobius vermicularis, Trichuris trichiura, Ascaris lumbricoides, Ancylostoma duodenale, and Necator.
For Strongyloidiasis or Taeniasis, 400 mg (one tablet) should be taken once daily for 3 consecutive days.
If the patient is not cured within 3 weeks, a second course of treatment is recommended.
Albendazole tablets must be chewed.
Pregnancy:
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Albendazole should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
Lactation:
Albendazole has been shown to be excreted in the milk of animals. It is not known whether it is excreted in human breast milk. As many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when albendazole is administered to a nursing woman.
No adverse effects on the ability to drive or operate machinery have been reported.
Store below 30°C in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children.
Do not use after the expiration date.
