Dikloron belongs to the group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for topical use. It is intended for external use only.
Active substance: Each 1gm of gel contains 11.6 mg diclofenac diethylammonium, which is equivalent to 10 mg diclofenac sodium.
Excipients: Carbomer 934P, ethyl alcohol, triethanolamine, methyl paraben, deionized water.
• Dikloron is a transparent, semi-solid gel preparation with an alcohol odor, containing diclofenac diethylammonium as the active substance.

• Dikloron for adolescents:
Used in cases of sprains, bruises, and pain.
Used for inflammation of soft tissues.
Used in rheumatic conditions.
• If you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the excipients contained in Dikloron.
• If, after taking acetylsalicylic acid (a pain-relieving medicine) or other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, you have experienced wheezing or shortness of breath (asthma attack), fluid-filled rashes, urticaria, or symptoms such as a runny nose.
• During pregnancy (especially during the last 3 months), use of this medicine is not recommended.
• Dikloron must not be applied to open wounds, damaged skin, rashes, or areas affected by eczema.
• Use is not recommended for children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
Take special care:
• Dikloron is intended for external use only.
• Avoid contact of Dikloron with the eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If discomfort persists, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
• Avoid exposure to sunlight during the use of Dikloron.
• Discontinue use if a skin rash occurs.
• Dikloron may be used with non-occlusive bandages; airtight occlusive bandages must not be used.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting use of this medicine.
Use of Dikloron during pregnancy, especially during the first three months, is contraindicated.
If you become pregnant during treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
Use of Dikloron during breastfeeding is not recommended. Long-term use or application on the breast without a doctor’s prescription is not permitted.
Dikloron has no adverse effect on the ability to drive or use machines.
Dikloron contains methyl paraben, which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
If you are taking or have recently taken any medicines, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Adolescents:
Dikloron should be applied to the skin 3–4 times a day. The required amount depends on the size of the painful area. For example, 2–4 grams of Dikloron (about the size of a cherry or walnut) is sufficient to treat an area with a diameter of approximately 2–2.5 cm.
Without a doctor’s prescription, use of Dikloron for muscle and joint pain (injury, bruising) or tendinitis for more than 2 weeks, and for arthritis for more than 3 weeks, is not recommended. If pain and swelling persist after 7 days of use, consult a doctor.
Method and route of administration:
Gently rub the medicine into the painful or swollen area using slow movements. You will feel a cooling sensation during application. Wash your hands after use (unless treating the hands).
Children:
Use of Dikloron is not recommended for children under 14 years of age.
For children over 14 years of age, if the medicine is used for pain relief for more than 7 days or if symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.
Use in the elderly:
Elderly patients may use the same dosage as adults.
Special cases:
No dose adjustment is required for patients with kidney or liver insufficiency.
If you notice that the effect of Dikloron is too strong or too weak, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more Dikloron than you should: Consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you forget to use Dikloron: Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
Possible side effects
Stop using Dikloron and consult a doctor immediately if you notice:
Common:
• Skin disorders (inflammation, eczema).
• Rash.
• Dermatitis (including contact dermatitis).
• Itching.
• Redness (erythema).
Rare:
• Skin disorders with fluid-filled blisters (bullous dermatitis).
Very rare:
• Sensitivity to light.
• Swelling of the mouth, face, tongue, or throat (angioedema).
• Fluid-filled rash or urticaria.
• Wheezing, shortness of breath, or tightness in the chest (asthma).
These symptoms indicate a serious allergic reaction to Dikloron. In such cases, urgent medical treatment or hospitalization may be required.
If any of the above side effects occur, contact your doctor or the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.
Keep Dikloron out of the reach of children and in its original packaging.
Store the medicine at a temperature below 25°C.
Use the medicine before the expiry date stated on the package.
Do not use Dikloron after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Do not dispose of expired or unused medicines in household waste. Return them to the collection system designated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Urbanization.
