Abizole 10 mg is used for the treatment of schizophrenia and for moderate to severe manic episodes associated with type I bipolar disorder.
Each tablet contains 10 mg of the active ingredient aripiprazole.
Excipients: 73.949 mg of mannitol and red iron oxide (E172) as coloring agent.
Abizole is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older.
It is also indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes in type I bipolar disorder and for the prevention of new manic episodes in adults who have previously responded to treatment with aripiprazole.
In adolescents aged 13 years and older, Abizole is indicated for a 12-week course in the treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes in type I bipolar disorder.

The recommended starting dose of Abizole is 10–15 mg per day, with a maintenance dose of 15 mg once daily, with or without food.
Efficacy has been demonstrated at doses of 10–30 mg per day. Doses above 15 mg per day have not shown increased efficacy, although in some cases higher doses may be beneficial.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg.
