Treatment of scurvy
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 effervescent tablet daily, dissolved in a glass of water (200 ml).
Elderly patients:
The product is used in the same dosage. Elderly individuals may have an increased risk of vitamin C deficiency due to reduced food intake.

Oxalate kidney stones or oxaluria
Hemochromatosis
Severe renal failure
C-Muni should not be used in patients with renal failure.
The recommended dose should not be exceeded.
Prolonged use of high doses of ascorbic acid may increase renal clearance of ascorbic acid, which could lead to deficiency if the dose is rapidly reduced or discontinued.
Patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency should not exceed the recommended dose, as excessive intake of vitamin C in such individuals has been associated with hemolytic anemia.
Patients who are taking vitamins, medications, or are under medical supervision should consult a doctor before using this product.
There should be at least a 4-hour interval between taking C-Muni tablets and other medications or supplements, unless otherwise directed by a physician.
Vitamin C may interfere with laboratory tests and cause false results. Healthcare providers should be informed about the use of this product before performing or scheduling any diagnostic procedures.
Vitamin C may affect the accuracy of test strips and glucometers used to measure blood glucose levels and may cause false readings.
Use of C-Muni may interfere with laboratory determination of uric acid using phosphotungstic acid or uricase with copper reduction, and with creatinine measurement in non-deproteinized serum.
High doses of ascorbic acid may cause false-negative results in fecal occult blood tests.
