Magne B6 is prescribed in cases where symptoms of magnesium deficiency appear as a result of treatment.
Magnesium deficiency may cause several symptoms or their combination:
Neurosis, irritability, anxiety, mild fatigue, slight sleep disturbances;
Cramps, tingling sensations.
Do not take Magne B6 in the following cases:
If you are allergic to the active substance or any of the components (see section 6);
If you have kidney disease;
If you are taking levodopa (because Magne B6 contains pyridoxine).
If your doctor has informed you that you have intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking this product.
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

In cases of severe magnesium deficiency or absorption disorders, magnesium should first be administered intravenously.
The product is taken orally.
Tablets should be swallowed with a glass of water.
The product is intended for adults and children over 6 years of age.
The daily dose is 6–8 tablets, divided into 2–3 doses with meals.
Children over 6 years old and weighing more than 20 kg:
The daily dose is 10–30 mg/kg of body weight (0.4–1.2 mmol/kg).
They may take 2–4 tablets per day, divided into 2–3 doses with meals.
For moderate renal insufficiency, dosage may be adjusted according to plasma magnesium levels.
In severe renal failure, Magne B6 is contraindicated.
Once serum magnesium returns to normal, treatment must be stopped.
Treatment duration usually lasts 1 month.
If symptoms persist after one month, the necessity of continuing treatment must be evaluated.

Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.

Like all medicines, this product may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Reported reactions include skin reactions, rarely diarrhea or abdominal pain, and very rarely allergic reactions.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
During pregnancy, the medicine may be used only if prescribed by a doctor.
If pregnancy occurs during treatment, contact your doctor, who will decide whether to continue therapy.
Magnesium and vitamin B6 individually are considered compatible with breastfeeding.
However, due to limited data on maximum recommended doses of vitamin B6 during lactation, breastfeeding mothers should not exceed 20 mg of vitamin B6 per day — equal to a maximum of 4 tablets daily.
